Beautiful outdoor garden, indoor glasshouse, cosy cocktails bar & covered cabana. The Garden has a woodfired pizza oven, open grill & creative menu.

Opening hours from Monday September 30th:

Monday  – Sunday  – Breakfast only served until 2.30pm.

From Sunday October 20th – Sunday Roast served until 5pm plus new lunch menu coming soon.

The Garden are also hosting pre-booked Christmas Parties from November 25th until December 21st. See our menu page for more details

About The Garden

Freshly made food and a wood-fired oven provide casual dining in a secluded spot.

Offering fresh pizza, pasta and grill there is something for everyone. The Garden also offers a full vegan menu plus an abundance of gluten free choices.

Just coming for drinks? Our cocktail bar serves a variety of drinks made with the finest London Essence selection.

Please note from 30th September 24 – early  Spring ’25 The Garden is open for Brunch, Lunch Events & Christmas Parties only.

Where are you?
We're on Florence Road in Southsea, our postcode is PO5 2NE, just minutes from the seafront and 7 minutes from Palmerston Road area. Click here to find us on Google Maps
When is breakfast served?

Enjoy our all day breakfast till 2.30pm.

How can I book?
Click here for tables or phone us on 02392 008555. Do pop by if you are looking at booking a group in our Cabana so we can show you around.
Do you have indoor seating?
Yes! We have a conservatory, indoor dining area, private dining room that seats 10, plus undercover Cabana.
What's the latest booking time?
From 17th June our last sitting is 9pm except Sundays when it's 8pm
Do you take deposits for tables?
Yes we take deposits for tables of 8 or more - there are some exceptions though so please ask. If you book a table of 8 or more online please contact us on 02392 008555
Can we just come for coffee?
Yes please do!
I can't book for 12 or more on your website?
No problem! Please call 02392 008555 - we may need to take a deposit for the table.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes! Well-behaved dogs are very welcome.
Do you have parking?
Please park on Southsea Esplanade - just 3 minutes walk away at the top of the road. We do not have parking for restaurant guests. 
Can you cater for Vegans?
Of course! 
Can you cater for Kids?
Absolutely  - we have a kid's breakfast & main menu.
I'm running late - how long do you hold tables for?
Tables are held for 10 minutes after the scheduled booking time - call us so we know you are on the way 02392 008555
Do you have a smoking area?
No the whole area is strictly non smoking, we have no smoking or vaping areas.
